This could not be used as additional seating
"I had figured that this ottoman could have been used for additional seating in a pinch, but that is not the case. It is important to note that there is not a support structure for the two top pieces that runs down the middle of the ottoman. As a result, if you try to sit on it, the middle of the ottoman collapses down into the storage bin. This is only the case for when you put the leather portion facing outwards. If you put the wood portion facing upwards, the ottoman is much more sturdy. This allows you to safely use the wood portion as a coffee table. I would still not sit anything too heavy on it though. That being said, this is a very useful piece of furniture that really functions as three pieces at once: a foot stool, a coffee table, and a storage bin. We are currently using it to store toys when company comes over."

"The white storage ottoman with tray is a very nice addition to my game room. It fits perfectly between my white recliners. I was surprised to see that the ottoman is true white.
