In January 2025, devastating wildfires swept through Greater Los Angeles, displacing thousands of families and leaving many without homes.At CHITA, a brand dedicated to creating warm, comfortable spaces, we believe that everyone deserves a place to call home, especially in times of crisis
That's why we partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) through their ReBUILD LA® campaign, providing essential furniture to affected families as they begin the process of rebuilding their lives.
Our mission with this initiative:

How CHITA Took Action
Partnering with Habitat LA to Provide Immediate Relief
We are honored to collaborate with Habitat LA, an affiliate of the global NGO Habitat for Humanity, to support families affected by the wildfires.
Through this partnership, CHITA donated practical, easy-to-install furniture, enabling families to quickly restore comfort in their homes. Carefully selected for functionality and ease of use, these essential pieces bring warmth and familiarity to those rebuilding their lives.
Real Stories: Bringing Comfort to Those in Need
Beyond donating furniture, our goal was to make a tangible, lasting impact. That's why we collaborated with social media influencer and singer @sampikar, who helped us deliver CHITA furniture to two families affected by the wildfires.

Together with Sam, we donated the easy-to-assemble Delaney Modular Sofas, a versatile piece that can be arranged into a bed, providing comfort and functionality to families in need.
We also proudly donated Grace Sofas, Milly Swivel Chairs, and Ambre Swivel Chairs at the NAACP Gift Lounge, distributing these pieces to local families. Combining quality craftsmanship and comfort, these items are designed to create a cozy, inviting atmosphere for any home.

Expanding Our Impact Through Community Engagement
In addition to direct donations, CHITA encouraged individuals to contribute to relief efforts by sharing donation links to trusted organizations:
