What is Prop 65 warning?

Proposition 65 requires warning labels on products that may contain any of 800-plus chemicals or ingredients that the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) lists as a carcinogen or a reproductive toxicant. These include wood dust, brass and a multitude of other everyday elements. Many of the elements listed under Proposition 65 are common everyday additives found in products such as jewelry, lamps, ceramic tableware, lead crystal glasses, electric cords, automobiles, beauty products and furniture.

Because there is always a chance that wood dust or some other of the hundreds of ingredients listed in Proposition 65 could potentially be on our furniture or packing materials, we must include Proposition 65 warnings on our products or risk large fines under this law in California.

Perfect Deepseat Sofa for the Whole Family

"I am in love with this sofa. The deep seat make it incredibly comfortable, and it has quickly become one of our family’s favorite places to relax together. The kids especially love climbing up, stretching out, and getting comfortable on it. The sofa feels very sturdy and well made, and the material has a nice, premium feel to it. The tufted design gives it a modern, stylish look, but it is still very practical and comfortable for everyday family use. The cushions feel supportive without being too firm, and the overall construction feels solid. What I like most is that it looks beautiful in the room while still being comfortable enough for daily use. It has a very cozy, high-quality feel, and our whole family enjoys it. I would definitely recommend this sofa to anyone looking for something modern, comfortable, and well built."

Comfy and sturdy but the colour is off

"I suppose I should’ve ordered swatches, I didn’t realise that was an option until now. The sofa is much closer to an olive drab than the forest green that is advertised. I’m really let down by the colour difference. That considered, the sofa is lovely. It came in one large box with the legs in a separate bag. Very simple to screw the six legs in. The legs are very short, so keep in mind it’s possible to substitute them out if desired. The sofa shape is exactly as expected and it really does look lovely with its contours and curves. The four cushions it comes with are comfortable and nice! The back cushion of the couch is so plush and soft. Really nice to lean back on. The seat of the couch is also nice and supportive - though it’s not as soft as the description suggests. On the firmer side for sure. I do think it’ll break in and end up being perfect. Size-wise, this is a great napping couch. My boyfriend and I are able to lay head to toe or spoon very comfortably on the couch. For reference, he’s average to larger sized and I am petite. The fabric is soft but not as much as, say, a chenille blanket, cardigan, or sweater would be. It doesn’t have a movable “pile” the way that velvet does. This means that you can’t swipe the fabric one way or another with your hands and change its colour. It’s fixed in place. Overall, the couch still looks wonderful in my living room despite the colour disappointment. The other photos in these reviews are all pixelated on my phone and PC, so I hope you can see mine. In one photo, I have a forest green hoodie sitting on the sofa to show the colour difference. Photos taken in natural daylight. The colour is pretty much the same at night with lights on, too. My photos don’t show all four cushions that come with the sofa. I am happy with the gamble I took by ordering this online! I couldn’t find the sofa for sale anywhere else for less than here. Use google lens to search for other retailers’ offerings. It’s unique, comfy, and feels really sturdy. I would recommend purchasing once you’ve ordered and looked over a swatch. If you google “olive drab green”, you’ve got a close idea of what colour this sofa actually is."

Plush Comfort with Great Back Support

"Nice couch. Love the moody color and the fact that the bottom cushion is removable but hooks in place so it doesnt slide around. Very solid and a bit heavier than our previous couch. Really love the style, it is unique but doesnt stand out too much."

— Paul (5/5)

Great!

"I bought this in the cream color for my reading nook and it’s now my favorite spot in the house. The curved back adds such a soft, sculptural element and the welt trim elevates the entire piece. It’s also quiet—no creaking or sagging. After three months of daily use, it still looks and feels brand new."

— Lauren F. (5/5)

Even Better Than Expected

"This couch exceeded every expectation. It’s heavier and sturdier than I anticipated. The fabric is soft, cozy, and doesn't get hot like velvet sometimes does. We’ve gotten so many compliments from friends. It feels luxurious without being fussy."

— Olivia C. (5/5)

Highly Recommend

"If you want something that’s both stylish and insanely comfortable, this is it. The quality is excellent, the design is gorgeous, and it’s by far the best sofa I’ve owned."
