"I am so glad I picked the Chita Living Elvin loung chair over the "Eames" knockoffs I was considering. The design, materials and construction of this chair are superior. Elvin rocks !!

"So glad I purchased this chair, it was just what I was searching for. The leather is nice, the setup to put together was easy. The only issue I had was installing the headrest, the holes didn’t line up and I had to have my wife help but we got it. The install for the chair base lined up perfectly and the two bases are very heavy and well built. For the ottoman I followed the directions and used the bolts in the directions and packet and not the ones that were attached to the box, not sure why those were included plus they were too small to attach the base to the ottoman. So maybe this was 4 1/2 stars but those issues were minor. The other great part of the purchase was the price, I was looking chairs from Ekorness and Fjord but the price was at minimum double the cost of the Elvin. Looking forward to many comfortable days lounging and listening to my audio system , my music room is now complete. One other thing the recline feature lets me dial in just the right amount and is very smooth. I’m very happy."

Elvin White Leather Recliner & Ottoman

"The chair & Ottoman are very comfortable and soft. This chair also provides better lumbar support than most recliners with a lumbar adjustment. The white leather is absolutely beautiful. I am 5’7” / 200 lbs and the fit is perfect for me. I tried many higher end brands with a much higher price and they were not as comfortable. This is not a chair design that you will sink into. Instead, you sit in a relaxed position without obstruction or restriction. The single recline adjustment feels solid and provides exact recline options to your needs. Very well made and the installation of both bases was effortless. The adjustable headrest works perfectly and stays in position. I was hesitant to purchase a chair I could not try beforehand, but I have absolutely no regrets. After looking at dozens of recliners, I found myself coming back to this one multiple times. I will note that the images on the Chita website made me think the wood was a darker gray, but I am still very happy with the overall appearance. 5 stars for sure !"

Does the seat height adjust?

No, the seat height cannot be adjusted.

What is the chair back/bottom made of? Is it real wood or a plasticy looking laminate?

Plywood in ash veneer.

Please refer to the assembly instruction. For differeht heights: Lift or lower the headrest to accommodate different heights.

For different angles: The headrest has 3 different positions: Position 0 (original position), Position 1, Position 2. Push the headrest forward slightly to get to Position 1 and Position 2. Push the headrest further forward to Position 3, the headrest will then be released to Position 0.
