What is Prop 65 warning?

Proposition 65 requires warning labels on products that may contain any of 800-plus chemicals or ingredients that the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) lists as a carcinogen or a reproductive toxicant.

These include wood dust, brass and a multitude of other everyday elements. Many of the elements listed under Proposition 65 are common everyday additives found in products such as jewelry, lamps, ceramic tableware, lead crystal glasses, electric cords, automobiles, beauty products and furniture.

Because there is always a chance that wood dust or some other of the hundreds of ingredients listed in Proposition 65 could potentially be on our furniture or packing materials, we must include Proposition 65 warnings on our products or risk large fines under this law in California.

Loved Them So Much I Bought More

"This is actually my second time reviewing these stools because I ended up buying more. I originally purchased two for our main counter area, and after using them for a while, I liked them so much that I ordered a few more for our upstairs bar area. They look very elegant and stylish in person, and the quality feels excellent. What surprised me most is how comfortable they are. They have a very sleek, modern look, so I honestly did not expect them to be this comfortable to sit in for longer periods of time. The rope detailing and overall design make them look much more premium than a typical bar stool, and they have really upgraded both spaces in our home. I am genuinely very happy with them and would absolutely recommend them."

Beautiful, Comfortable, and Very Well Made

"This is my third time buying these Jade counter stools, and I’m still just as happy with them. I loved the first ones so much that I kept coming back for more. They look elegant and premium, feel very sturdy, and are surprisingly comfortable. The design really elevates the space. Definitely one of my favorite purchases from CHITA!"

— Mohammed (5/5)

Kid-Friendly Luxury

"This stool anchors my kitchen bar perfectly with its weighted stability. The butter-soft faux leather feels premium, has zero chemical smell, and wipes clean instantly. Love the felt pads on the legs."

— Amanda P. (5/5)

Masterful Accent Work

"The weave on the armrests is flawlessly executed. Beautiful silhouette and top-tier workmanship. Arrived safely and quickly."

Stunning Velvet & Metal

"The gold tapered frame adds such a luxurious touch to my kitchen island. The hand-woven strap details on the armrests show amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail."

Chairs are far more comfortable than you'd expect.

"Some of the assembly wasn't perfect, but these chairs are so worth it. Unbelievably comfortable, especially when considering long days studying or working on these. They look amazing! They feel great! And the price of these chairs is cheaper while being much higher quality than other chairs/barstools you'll find online and in person. These chairs are everything I wanted and then some."

— Alexander G. (5/5)

Almost Perfect but Still Great

"Really nice quality and design. I just wish the seat was a touch wider for extra comfort, but overall they’re stunning!"

— Grace H. (4/5)

Easy to Clean and Looks Luxe

"Love how easy it is to wipe clean. The faux leather feels buttery soft and looks way more expensive than it is."

— Liam P. (5/5)

Perfect Mix of Modern and Cozy
